Strict and fast diet experts claim that buckwheat diet for weight loss in a week will allow you to lose 5 to 8 kg of excess weight. This diet is quite strict, no more than any other mono diet when only one product is allowed to be consumed, and in our case it is buckwheat.

The main thing in the buckwheat diet for rapid weight loss is the correct preparation of the product. Best of all, do not boil it, but pour boiling water over it and leave under a tightly closed saucepan or in a thermos. The express buckwheat diet (like the mono variant) is designed for 4 meals per day. The latter should end at least 4 hours before bedtime. At the same time, the consumption of normal water without gas is not limited. If you adhere to a strict mono regime (that is, you only use buckwheat) the amount is not limited - eat as much as you can.

If a hard mono diet isn't what you want, you can use another buckwheat diet for weight loss. Its essence lies in the inclusion in the diet of kefir with 1% fat content (no more than 1 liter per day). You can resort to such a diet if the usual buckwheat diet for weight loss seems too strict to you and you are unsure whether you can stand it. In this case, the amount of the daily ration is already limited: about 200-250 g of buckwheat per day (that is, dry grain) and no more than 1 liter of low-fat kefir. In addition, 100 g of "live" natural yoghurt without sugar or additives can be added to the daily diet.

There is a way out

Both versions of the buckwheat diet for weight loss cannot last more than a week. And it is very important to finish the diet correctly. After you finish, try to adhere to the principles of a healthy, low-calorie diet for as long as possible. That is, exclude fatty, sweet foods, fast foods, baked goods and ready meals from the diet. Sample menu for a light buckwheat diet

First 4 days:

  • Breakfast: 50 grams of buckwheat, 1 glass of low-fat kefir;
  • second breakfast: 1 glass of kefir;
  • Lunch: 50 g buckwheat and 100 g low-fat yogurt;
  • Dinner: 50 grams of buckwheat and 1 glass of kefir.

5th and 6th day:

  • Breakfast: 50 grams of buckwheat and 1 cup of green tea without sugar;
  • second breakfast: 100 g yogurt;
  • Lunch: 90 g buckwheat and 1 glass of kefir;
  • Dinner: 50 g buckwheat and 1 glass of Kefirli>
